Now that I'm starting to settle into summer. I'm already getting restless.
I need some books!
I tried (again) to finish the most recent book in a certain number series by a very beloved author. And, I just can't do it. I have put the book down three times. Sadly, I have reached the point where I don't care about the characters.
I need some suggestions!
What are you reading this summer?
I don't do horror (Me= Big, fat fraidy cat)
but, I'll read just about anything else.
Adult, YA, Suspense, Inspirational, Erotic, whatever.
Mostly, I need something to keep me on the treadmill.
I read every morning while I walk. If I am into the story, I walk longer.

Let's hear it.
What should I read this summer?

Well. Right now, I'm reading these Mystery Man series books by Kristen Ashley, and I'm suggesting that you avoid them, because I am NOT off this summer, and I am finding it hard to get anything done on my to-do list right now, because I can't stop reading them.
They're romantic suspense, I guess, but a little different, told in mostly first person. Don't get them, you won't get anything done. Just sayin'.
I will be sure to avoid those. :) (Opens Amazon, starts searching)
Thanks for the warning!
Getting housework done is highly overrated, you know!
I'm reading Simon Says Die by Lena Diaz. This is her second romantic suspense, and I love her writing.
Try He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not her first and enjoy!
Well, a re-read of the Harry Potter books is always in order. :)
I'm reading Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, a Dream by H.G. Bissinger right now (I love the show), but am finding it a bit slow going.
YA: Catching Jordan and The Stillburrow Crush were both really good.
No Dress Required is a shorter novella in Entangled's Flirt line, written by Cari Quinn. Also Her Secret Millionaire by Cat Shield is a short free read from her website.
Enjoy your summer.
I just finished the Dead Room by Robert Ellis and I really liked it. Thriller. You won't be scared.
I'm reading Brandilyn Collins, Gone to Ground for book club. It's about a serial murderer and 5 women think they know who did it, but they all think it's someone different! Pretty interesting.
