TIME TRAVEL STYLE
I am Beta reading a YA Time Travel right now for the great Janet B. Taylor.
I have enjoyed it so much I decided to we needed a
Time Travel Plot Swap
My favorite time travel type thing was
Quantum Leap
Loved this show
I am also a fan of the movie
TIMELINE
Paul Walker and Gerald Butler
What's not to like?
Which is based on this book by Michael Crichton.
And, what discussion of time travel would be complete without
Back to the Future ?
I decided to include the ZZ Top video that summarizes the whole trilogy.
And I will confess to having a HUGE crush on Michael J. Fox, until I found out he is short.

So, swap with me. What is your favorite Time Travel plot (book or movie)?
Bonus: If you could time travel, "when" would you go and why?

I would watch Paul Walker scrape poop off a lawn for two hours and pay $15.00 an hour to do it. Just sayin...
I really loved watching Kate & Leopold, when he time traveled to the future. It was a wonderful romance!
I'm also giggling at your Michael J. Fox statement. My BFF gets so disappointed when she finds out some of her favorite actors are short. Like Ian Somerholder. But I'm 5 foot, so 5'9 is tall for me! Dibs! :)
Jessica~ Yes, I would set up a lawn chair beside you and enjoy the view!
I have never seen Kate and Leopold. I will have to check that out.
I am 5'7. But my husband is 6'1. Tall was always a requirement for me.
I still get dizzy when I think too hard about the Terminator movies, and the idea of John Connor's best friend coming back from the future to schtup Sarah. Which makes her the ultimate MILF, right?
When I was writing this, my husband mentioned the Terminator movies. I refused to include them because the whole: He was sent back to make sure he was born thing makes my head spin.
When it comes to time travel, I'm all about Star Trek... especially The Next Generation. So many episodes with time anomalies. :)
If I were able to travel in time, I'd just flit around; future and past. I wouldn't want to stay in the past for very long- we've come a long way in a lot of things. Standards of living, humanities, etc. And since I don't know what the future holds, I'd just want to pop in and out to see before lingering. >.<
Tressa~I will confess to having never watched a Star Trek episode. It is sad, I know.
If I were able to go back in time I would like to go see my parents meet. Just sitting to the side. I would also like to see my husband as he was in High School (we met long after that).
I wouldn't want to change anything. Or rearrange it. Just check it out.
Loved the movie, Somewhere in Time, with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve. Great time travel movie/romance. I believe it's from the 1980's. The book was good too.
Also love all of the Back to the Future movies and the Quantum Leap series.
Fun post.
Morning Dawn, I can't think of any time travel movies other than the ones mentioned...but it's early here so that might be my problem. :)
Loree~ I remember watching Somewhere in Time on a VHS tape that my parents had. I had forgotten about that one!
Lacie~ I understand about it being early! Thanks for stopping by!
