Most people tell me I'm crazy, but I'm a little scared of both of them. I don't know why. Give me a pep talk guys, if you think I should try them. But I do love Jane Austen. She's seemed to get better as I get older. And though I don't like the ending of Little Women so much (still think Jo should have married Laurie, not Amy, spoiler alert, LOL), I blogged this Tuesday about why Louisa May Alcott and Lucy Maud Montgomery (Anne of Green Gables) were more revolutionary woman than I expected. They also kind of terrify me a little bit, in a good way. You can check it out, if you dare. http://bit.ly/nycB28Lanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17301711513655872267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6150179607441468539.post-25363405399867094582011-07-28T18:13:01.849-05:002011-07-28T18:13:01.849-05:00Teri~ I highly suggest the In Death series. That was another series I avoided like crazy. I was more into Judy Blume. I went back and reread some of those as an adult and wondered why my reading choices weren't monitored a little more closely as a child!

Tressa~ I think it is hilarious we are opposites. The Anne of Green Gables was very good. I have been thinking about rereading them.Dawn Alexanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12812066956850617957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6150179607441468539.post-49349209234664223782011-07-28T16:34:50.826-05:002011-07-28T16:34:50.826-05:00I'm the exact opposite! And I have not only read Little Women, but all the other books by LMA, did you know there were a bunch of them?
And Nancy Drew? She da girl.
I did, however, bail on Harry Potter in the middle of book one.

I have NOT read Anne of Green Gables of the JD Robb books.

And I, too, read all the frickin' Twilight Books.Teri Anne Stanleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15500524348027951939noreply@blogger.com
